PLA8 - Logic analyzer for USB
PLA8 is fast, flexible and easy to use logic analyzer for the USB port. Eight-bit variant is capable of measuring up to 24 MHz and a capacity of 10 billion samples supports the decoding of a wide range of standard protocols (I2C, I2S, SPI, 1-Wire, CAN, PCM, UNI/O ...).
PLA8 is fast, flexible and easy to use, 8-channel logic analyzer for the USB port. This is an affordable option - a clone of Saleae’s company logic analyzer. Thanks to support of USB 2.0 analyzer can scan up to 24 MHz at the 8-channel. Measured data is transmitted in real time to PC, where they are further processed and stored. This allows the analyzer to capture up to 10 billion samples, which allows you to view even the most elusive events.
The analyzer is powered directly from USB port. The input voltage range is defined by the isolation circuit SN74LVC245APWR and can be between -0.5 and 6.5 V. The circuit supports logic levels between 1.8 and 5 V and provides short-term resistance inputs up to 12V.
Control software is available free for Windows, Mac and Linux. In addition to the basic waveform display and features such as zoom, export, etc. also supports a wide range of automatic decoding of serial interface. Currently supported interfaces are I2C, I2S, SPI, 1-Wire, CAN, PCM, UNI/O, Manchester and MP.
